Since 1976 Josco Melius, Inc. has been servicing OEMs in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Our focus is to bring together our high-quality electromechanical manufacturers with strategic OEM customers within our territory. These products include electronic, motion, mechanical, interconnection, magnetic, and contract manufacturing services.

By representing select synergistic manufacturers, coupled with true sales professionals who are trained and have extensive experience in the sale and application of engineered products, we have successfully helped provide countless solutions during design-in and throughout the life of your project platform. These attributes and hard work allow us to continually bring new opportunities to our principals from the medical, telecommunication, instrumentation, military, and industrial industries.

Josco Melius, Inc. was established in January of 1976 through the merger of Josco Sales Engineering and Ed Melius & Associates, bringing together decades of combined selling experience in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Ray Joschko founded Josco Sales Engineering in 1961 and had an extensive background in engineering and selling of motors and gear motors. Ed Melius founded Ed Melius and Associates in 1959 – his background was in electronic component sales. Together, Ray and Ed established a diverse and successful sales organization — Josco Melius, Inc.

In 1986 the company was purchased by two employees, Greg Larson and Mike Doody. When Mike retired in 2000, Greg purchased the entire company. In 2012 Greg brought on an employee as his partner, James Duckless, and in 2015, when Greg retired, James became Josco’s sole owner to lead into the next stage of the company.

Josco Melius continues to represent high-quality, custom manufacturers of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical products and services. The key to our success has been and will continue to be our customers and our Principals along with our employees’ commitment to satisfy both!
